Construction workers in northeastern Turkey have unearthed a remarkably well-preserved skeleton, allegedly belonging to a 19th century Russian soldier who died fighting during the 1877-78 Russo-Turkish war.

"The opinion of Tolstoy harms bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Russia," Tsveta Karayancheva has said, reading a declaration authored by GERB's parliamentary faction.

A high-level delegation from President Putin's United Russia party is coming to Montenegro in mid-April to improve relations with the majority Orthodox country, which was recently invited to join NATO.

Russian State Duma Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Aleksei Pushkov thinks that "the world order" is being decided in Syria.
He told Austria's Presse newspaper the war in the Middle Eastern country was "not just a local conflict."
Museum Exhibits Replica of Crown Worn by Medieval Bulgarian Rulers
A replica of the crown, which was supposedly worn by medieval Bulgarian rulers, was presented in the National History Museum (NIM) in Sofia on Tuesday.
The replica portrays the crown which was supposedly manufactured in the Vatican and presented as a gift by Pope Innocent III to Tsar Kaloyan in 1204.
