Ukraine Strikes Russian Landing Craft: Yamal Reportedly Suffers Heavy Damage

Ukraine's military intelligence, the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense, has reported significant damage to a Russian landing craft, the Yamal. The assault on the Yamal, a large Russian amphibious assault ship, occurred on Sunday morning and resulted in serious impairment to the vessel.

Russia says thwarted Ukraine attacks on Black Sea naval base; Crimea

Russia's defence ministry said early on Friday that it had thwarted overnight Ukrainian attacks on a naval base in the Black Sea and the Crimean peninsula.

"Tonight, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the use of two unmanned sea boats, attempted an attack on the Novorossiysk naval base of the Russian Armed Forces," the ministry said on Telegram.

He added that the sunken Russian flagship will one day become a popular spot for divers.
"One year ago, the naval forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine changed history. The missile cruiser Moscow, the 'Russian warship' flagship of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, was hit by a well-aimed strike from a Ukrainian Neptune missile and sank the next day," said Reznikov.

Russian Black Sea Fleet assaulted

As the governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, announced on his Telegram channel, a total of three drones that tried to enter the bay were destroyed and the warships were not destroyed.
"Our sailors shot at them with small arms. Air defense was also working," wrote the governor of Sevastopol, where the main base of the Black Sea Fleet is located.
