Australia Police 'Foil Terror Plot to Bring Down Plane'
Counter-terrorism police in Australia have stopped a suspected plot to bring down an aeroplane, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has said, quoted by BBC.
He was speaking after four people were arrested in raids across Sydney.
Investigators said they had seized materials in the raids that could have been used to make an improvised explosive device.

Firefighters battling 19 wildfires across Greece

Police search for clues after corpse found near Achaia quarry
Police in Achaia, in the Peloponnese, Wednesday, were investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 39-year-old Romanian man whose body was found near a quarry in the area of Araxos.
New Fires in Portugal
New fires rage in central Portugal. More than 2,300 firefighters with specialized equipment are struggling with to stop the fires from spreading, the France Press reported.
A big fire has covered the area of Kunchelu Branku. 800 firefighters, assisted by the local population, are involved in the extinguishing of the fire.

Ukrainian plane joins firefighting efforts in Montenegro
A Ukrainian AN-32P firefighting plane on Wednesday morning joined the effort to extinguish a wildfire above Obosnik, near the coastal town of Tivat.
According to Montenegro's state broadcaster, the plane has the capacity to carry 8,000 liters of water.
