Turkish Red Crescent provides tents for Idlib refugees
The Turkish Red Crescent on Feb. 16 distributed tents and heaters to Syrians fleeing clashes in and around Idlib, northwestern Syria.
The aid agency also distributed beds, blankets and food to people in the Mashhad Ruhin area, close to the Turkish border.
Turkey rules out changing Idlib de-escalation zone boundaries
Turkey's presidential spokesperson İbrahim Kalın has said that changing borders of the Idlib de-escalation zone in northwestern Syria, as determined by Astana and Sochi agreements, is out of the question.
Speaking at a news conference on Feb. 6, Ibrahim Kalın said it is not possible for Turkey to accept any proposal of change regarding the de-escalation zone.
Humanitarian catastrophe looms in Syria's Idlib
Intense attacks by Bashar al-Assad's regime, Russia and Iran backed-groups have forced thousands of civilians to flee from Syria's Idlib province which has been designated de-escalation zone.
Since the offensive began last week, the regime and its allies have launched a military campaign mainly in the cities of Maarat Al-Numan and Saraqib as well as the surrounding rural areas.

Three non-governmental organisations involved in organising Da'i lectures have received a total of KM 19,000, or some 9,500 euros, from state or local budgets in the past four years, BIRN has found.
Most of the money has been spent on Da'wah activities which seek to spread the faith.

"I think we have a serious problem," said Edina Becirevic, associate professor of security studies at Sarajevo's Faculty of Criminal Justice, Criminology and Security Studies, who has studied the Salafi phenomenon in Bosnia extensively.
"We, as a society, must deal with the fact that Salafi influencers promote intolerance, exclusion of women and religious superiority."
