About 500 Bulgarian tourists remain stuck on Greece's Aegean island of Santorini due to a strike of ferry companies, Sofia-based broadcaster bTV reported on Friday.

Five Bulgarian travel agencies had sent tourists on package tours to Santorini for the long weekend, a representative of a Bulgarian tour operator told bTV. May 6 is a holiday in Bulgaria.

The Greek island of Santorini was voted the second best island in the world in online site ‘TripAdvisor’s’ ‘Travellers’ Choice Awards’. Crete and Rhodes are also kong the top 10 European for the site’s users.

On line site TripAdvior, considered by many the best information centre for tourists revealed the results of its 2016 ‘Travellers’ Choice Awards’ regarding the top Greek islands, according to its users. Santorini in the Aegean took top spot followed by popular destinations like Crete, Rhodes etc. Here is the list of top 10 Greek islands:
