GCS: Romania's SARS-CoV-2 case count rises by 1,415 to 65,177
The Strategic Communication Group (GCS) reports on Wednesday that 1,415 new cases of persons infected with SARS-CoV-2 were recorded over the previous update, following tests done at the national level. These are cases that had not previously tested positive, the GCS mentions. Until Tuesday, 65,177 cases of people infected with the novel coronavirus have been confirmed in Romania.
196 new Covid-19 infections reported in Greece; one death
Greek health authorities announced 196 new SARS-CoV-2 infections in the country in the last 24 hours, 20 of which were imported infections detected at the country's entry points.
This comes a day after the National Organization of Public Health (EODY) confirmed 126 new cases.
In its daily report on Tuesday, EODY said that the total number of infections has reached 5,942.

Only 2% of Bulgarians Have Been Exposed to COVID-19
2% of all Bulgarians have been already infected with the novel coronavirus. In other words, the theory of achieving herd immunity is inapplicable in this country, the Chief State Health Inspector Associate Professor Angel Kunchev said.
