Young Jobless Albanians Abandon Hope of Work
An online survey carried between June and April 2014, including 7,555 respondents from across Southeast Europe, show Albania has the lowest number of unemployed young people actually seeking a job.
Only 36 per cent of the respondents in Albania said they were actively seeking employment, followed by Macedonia and Montenegro, where the figures were 38 and 39 per cent.

Bomb Signal Alerts Sofia Courthouse
Police are checking the Sofia courthouse after a bomb signal on Tuesday afternoon.
Around 2:45 PM, an anonymous man called in to alert the police that there is a bomb placed in the central Sofia courthouse, Vesti.bg reported.
The is no confirmation yet whether the signal was false.

Dutch forensic experts soon to reply on Vujasinovic case
BELGRADE - The Netherlands Forensic Institute is expected to provide its reply concerning the case of journalist Dada Vujasinovic once an official of the Serbian Prosecutor's Office visits the Netherlands in early May, the daily newspaper Danas has reported.
Transparency International links drop in corruption to crisis
Corruption in Greeces public and private sectors dipped by 15 percent last year, according to a report carried out by the Greek branch of Transparency International which found that 30 percent of respondents said they refused to deliver under-the-table payments, known as fakelakia, when asked for them.

Bulgarian Statistical Institute Riven by Scandal over 2011Census Data
Ivan Balev, head of the Demographic and Social Statistics unit of Bulgaria's National Statistical Institute (NSI), has insisted that the 2011 census was deeply flawed.
Balev, as cited by Darik radio, claimed that the shortcomings of the 2011 census were due to mistakes of census workers and statisticians.
