Early childhood education to be improved
The age of 5 will be set as the lower limit for compulsory education, while the early childhood education curriculum will be enriched, according to the 2023 Presidential Annual Program.

Education minister nominee plans white paper, changes to national primary school exam
Ljubljana – Igor Papič, the candidate for minister of education, science and sport, was cleared by the relevant parliamentary committee on Saturday after announcing a white paper on education and changes to the national exams at primary schools, whose results he believes should be one of the criteria for admission to the secondary school of choice.

Over 3,200 Students from 5th to 12th Grade Returned to Class in Sofia
More than 3,200 students from 5th to 12th grade returned to class in Sofia today. Most of them are in private schools. The only municipal school in the capital, the 164th Spanish-language high school, Miguel de Cervantes, managed to bring together 176 green-certified students in 8th, 9th and 10th grades. Ten of the 28 classes there are already conducting face-to-face training.
Over 131,000 8th grade graduates to sit in National Evaluation
Over 131,000 8th grade graduates, of whom 12,006 in Bucharest, will sit in the National Evaluation examination, in the session that will take place between June 22 and July 4, 2021, informs the Ministry of Education. The exam starts on Tuesday, with the written test in Romanian Language and Literature. On Thursday, June 24, the Math test will take place.
School reopening proposal by experts expected Friday
Proposals are expected Friday from the Health Ministry's committee of experts on the pandemic as to when, and under what conditions, secondary schools can reopen, which Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has stressed take precedence over the lifting of the ban on other activities.
Schedule of classes for elementary students
This is teaching schedule for first to eighth grade students.
Classes will be broadcast six days a week, classes will last half an hour, and students from first through seventh grade will have two lessons each day, while eighth-grade students will have three classes per day.

The idea of the Bulgarian Ministry of Education is to make holidays a little longer, and that will replace the last school day.
