Sports should be recognized as a human right, Sports and Youth Minister Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu has said, pointing out Türkiye's ongoing international fight against corruption in sports.

The Secretary General of the Council of Europe (CoE), Thorbjørn Jagland, has said that human rights, democracy and security are threatened across Europe.

Bulgaria's Justice Minister Hristo Ivanov and Thorbjørn Jagland, Secretary General of the Council of Europe (CoE), have discussed Bulgaria's judicial reform strategy and the independence of the judiciary in the country.

Ivanov is on a two-day working visit to Strasbourg on March 16-17.

Dačić attends Council of Europe ministerial meeting

VIENNA -- First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dačić is in Vienna where he will take part in the 124th ministerial meeting of the Council of Europe, the Serbian MFA said.

Upon arriving in Vienna, Dačić conferred with Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz late on Monday, according to the ministry.
