As expected, the results of the Nov.1 election started the congress debates for the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP).
And that's normal. No matter how much the fate of this election was determined by Devlet Bahçeli, the leader of Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), it was clear that the outcome would most affect the CHP.

Nation to remember founding father Atatürk
Turkey will remember the founding father of the modern republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, on the 77th anniversary of his death in ceremonies across the country, with his mausoleum in Ankara, An?tkabir, being the heart of the events.
An?tkabir will be open to visit until 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 10 in an event which sees tens of thousands of people gather every year.
