Spanish hackers con Greek firm out of 10,000 euros

Spanish hackers are accused of swindling a company in northern Greece out of 10,000 euros using the so-called "Business Email Scam."

According to a police statement, the three suspects intercepted emails between the company and another firm.

Posing as representatives of the second firm, the hackers convinced the company to deposit money in their bank account.

Hackers Spread Virus Using 'Game of Thrones' Spoilers

An information security company Proofpoint has discovered a "targeted email campaign" aimed at spreading viruses among gullible users using the popular HBO series "Game of Thrones."

The hackers used clips of leaked "GoT" episodes enticing users to download files from an attachment sent via email, ostensibly to see the rest of the unreleased episodes.

HBO Social Media Hacked

HBO's Facebook and Twitter accounts have been compromised in the latest cyber security breach to hit the firm.

A group called OurMine appeared to take control of the main HBO accounts, as well as those for the network's shows including Game of Thrones.

One posts said "OurMine are here. we are just testing your security".
