5.0 magnitude earthquake hit Rhodes
A 5.0 magnitude earthquake hit 62km south of the Greek island of Rhodes at 7.48pm at a depth of 44km, according to the Geodynamic Institute. The European-Mediterranean Seismological Institute measured the tremor at 4.8. No damage has been reported.

Powerful Earthquake in Indonesia
A strong earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale was felt along the coast of the western parts of Indonesia, according to AFP, quoted by DARIK.
There is no information about a tsunami, or whether there are victims or damages.
The earthquake hit the Mentavas islands in West Sumatra province, about 75km from the capital of Padang.

Turkey shaken by 26,290 earthquakes in first seven months of 2017
A total of 26,290 earthquakes have rocked Turkey over the first seven months of the year, marking the most seismic activity the country has experienced in 15 years, according to data from the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).
Earthquake was Registered in Greece
An earthquake of magnitude 3.6 on the Richter scale was registered in Greece at 6.16 am on August 29, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center website.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 45 km east of Thessaloniki and 23 km north of Poligiros, seven kilometers under the earth's crust.
There is no evidence of material damage.

Earthquake in Iran
Ten people were injured in an earthquake of magnitude 4.9 in Iran, the Associated Press reported, referring to state television, DARIK informed.
The quake has occurred before sunrise about 600 kilometers north of Tehran. The injured people have only minor injuries. Damage to buildings has been caused.

Geophysics engineer and earthquake expert Professor Ahmet Ercan has said he does not expect a destructive quake to occur in the Aegean resort of Bodrum, which was recently rattled by a series of tremors, but he also warned that aftershocks would continue for an additional two months.

A 3.1 magnitude earthquake is registered on the territory of Bulgaria, near Strazhitsa, BGNES reported.
The earthquake is felt at 16.19 AM with an epicenter 6 km southeast of Strazhitsa, 33 km east of Veliko Tarnovo, with a depth of 2 km, the European Seismological Center said.
