BELGRADE -- The 12th Beer Fest will be held in Ušće Park in Belgrade August 13-17, organizers said at a press conference held on Thursday.
The event was described as "the biggest of its kind in this part of Europe and one of the hallmarks of Belgrade."

BELGRADE -- The Serbian police have found the body of Tijana J., a 15-year-old girl that went missing in the town of Bajmok, in northern Serbia, on July 26.
The police also have a suspect for her abduction and murder it custody, the MUP has confirmed for B92.

Research conducted by BIRN Serbia shows that out of 29 promises that Serbian government pledged to meet while taking office, only two have been completely fulfilled.
The government adopted a new Labour Law in July and has introduced stricter control over public procurements.

Mihajlovic: 40 percent of flood-ravaged roads repaired
BACKO GRADISTE - Around 40 percent of the roads destroyed in the May floods have been repaired so far, Serbian Minister of Transport Zorana Mihajlovic said on Sunday, announcing that all of the country's damaged roads and railway infrastructure will be repaired by October 1.

BELGRADE - Due to an absolute statute of limitations, Mihalj Kertes, a former head of the Yugoslav Federal Customs Administration, has been acquitted of charges of illegally transferring money to Cyprus between 1994 and 2000 on orders from Slobodan Milosevic.
