Serbia through to World League semis
DUBAI - The Serbian water polo team reached semifinals at the closing tournament of the World League in Dubai, after defeating Canada 16-11 (4-1, 3-3, 2-2, 7-5) on Thursday.
The Serbian team is next to face Australia which outplayed Brazil 14-7.

Nikolic: Serbia-Austria relations very good
BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic said on Thursday, during talks with Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann, that bilateral relations are very good, and noted that the two countries are strongly connected by Austrian investments in Serbia on the one hand and a large number of Serbs living in Austria on the other.

MUP: Head of Criminal Police passes polygraph test
BELGRADE - The results of the polygraph test taken by Head of the Criminal Police Directorate (UKP) Rodoljub Milovic show no psychophysiological responses to relevant questions that would indicate that the examinee is not telling the truth, Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said on Thursday.

Djuric:State will take Orahovac,Velika Hoca out of isolation
ORAHOVAC/VELIKA HOCA - Marko Djuric, director of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM), promised on Thursday that the state will assist citizens of Orahovac and Velika Hoca, the Serb enclaves in south-western KiM, and called on people of goodwill to invest efforts in the preservation of Serb enclaves in KiM.

Vucic, Kirby open factory in Sremska Mitrovica
SREMSKA MITROVICA - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and U.S. Ambassador to Serbia Michael Kirby opened in Sremska Mitrovica, northwestern Serbia, on Thursday a plant of the U.S. manufacturer of automotive systems and components Cooper Standard, which will employ about 800 workers by mid-2016.
