Petkovic: Solution must include continued Postal Savings Bank operations in Kosovo-Metohija
BRUSSELS - For Serbia, it is important to find a solution in the dialogue with Pristina that will include continued operations of the Postal Savings Bank in Kosovo-Metohija, the head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic said in Brussels on Tuesday.
Serbian industrial turnover up by 6.9 pct y-o-y in January
BELGRADE - Serbia's January industrial turnover was up by 6.9 pct relative to the same month of last year, according to figures released by the national statistical office.
Relative to the 2023 average, it was down by 13.8 pct.
By sectors, the mining sector registered a 12 pct turnover increase y-o-y, while the manufacturing industry turnover rose by 6.7 pct.

INDJIJA - In a reaction to a report by Sarajevo-based Slobodna Bosna that he has surrendered Kosovo-Metohija, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Monday that "they did not listen carefully" to what he had said.
Vucic said this was "superficial" reporting by "extremists".
Vucic: JFE Shoji to bring new Japanese investors to Serbia
INDJIJA - The cornerstone for a factory of the Japanese company JFE Shoji was ceremonially laid in Indjija, northwestern Serbia, on Monday.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said the plant would be manufacturing motor cores for a wide range of applications.

Brnabic meets with OSCE, US ambassadors
BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic met with the head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia Jan Braathu and US Ambassador Christopher Hill on Friday, noting the significance of cooperation in the past years.
Brnabic said she hoped the successful cooperation would be continued in the future as well, with the next Serbian government and with her personally.

Soder: Serbia's economic indicators going strongly up, we will support EXPO 2027
BELGRADE - Minister-President of the German State of Bavaria Markus Soder said in Belgrade on Friday Serbian economic indicators were on a strong upward trajectory and announced that cooperation with Serbia would be stepped up and that Bavarian companies would take part in EXPO 2027, to be hosted by Belgrade.
