Vucic, Kostic discuss setting up SASA audio-visual archive
BELGRADE - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic and Serbian Academy of Science and Arts (SASA) President Vladimir Kostic on Friday reached a consensus and understanding on the future work of the SASA.
Vucic and Kostic discussed current topics and activities marking the 175th anniversary of the SASA.
Nikolic meets with SASA delegation
BELGRADE - A delegation of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts asked Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic for support in establishing a Center for Digitization of SASA.
Nikolic spoke in Belgrade with a SASA delegation led by the President of the Academy, Vladimir Kostic, the presidential press office said.

SANU actively involved in all relief and rebuilding efforts
BELGRADE - Expressing great regret over the loss of life and the vast material damage caused by the floods in Serbia, the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SANU) has said that its members are actively participating in all relief efforts.
The natural disaster that has hit Serbia will have major consequences on the economy and overall economic progress, it said.
2014 - year of Mihajlo Pupin
BELGRADE - The year of 2014 has been declared the year of Mihajlo Pupin (1854-1935), a world-renowned scientist, innovator and a great Serbian patriot.
Pupin was born on October 9, 1854, in Idvor, to a Banat rural family, which had ten children.
