Mirkovic:I do not think reporters' standing has deteriorated

Government to discuss draft budget review on Wednesday

BELGRADE - The Serbian government will discuss the draft law on budget review and decisions that envisage cuts in salaries and pensions in the public sector at Wednesday's session, Tanjug was told in the Serbian government.

The government's Committee on Finance will declare its stance on these decisions on Tuesday.

Lawyers stage protest in front of government building

BELGRADE - A few thousand lawyers rallied in front of the Serbian government's building in central Belgrade on Monday demanding their requests be met.

The Bar Association of Serbia said that around 4,000 lawyers from across Serbia gathered in Belgrade on Monday marking a month since they went on strike.
