Two sessions of the SNS tomorrow: Presidency session, followed by the SNS Main Board

The introductory part of the session of the Main Board will be open to the media, when President Aleksandar Vui will address the public, after which the session will be closed to the public. Also, after the session, statements for the media are planned.
Prior to the session of the Main Board, a session of the Presidency of the Serbian Progressive Party will be held.

Belgrade Appeals Court Starts Trial in Murdered Journalist Case

Former head of Serbian State Security Radomir Markovic repeated to the appeal court that he is not guilty for the 1999 murder of the Serbian journalist and editor Slavko Curuvija.

Markovic claimed that Curuvija was only put under state surveillance "due to his contacts with foreign intelligence agencies …The task of every state security is to establish the nature of these contacts".

Brnabic: Russia serious state, I do not believe it is behind protest

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said on Friday she did not believe the Russian Federation was behind a February 15 protest held outside the Presidency of Serbia building in central Belgrade.

"I do not believe the Russian Federation is behind that protest in any way or that it supports such people in any way, indirectly or directly," Brnabic told reporters in Belgrade.

Vucic signs decision to boost number of army special troops

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has signed a decision under which the number of Serbian Armed Forces special troops will be increased.

According to the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, the decision was made based on the Law on the President of the Republic and the Law on the Serbian Armed Forces.

Vucic to receive Quint ambassadors on Thursday

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will receive the ambassadors of Quint states to the OSCE Mission in Vienna and the five countries' seniormost diplomatic representatives in Belgrade on Thursday.

The meeting in the building of the General Secretariat of the President of the Republic is scheduled for 9 am, the presidential press office has announced in a statement.
