NEW YORK -- Over the weekend, USD 50,000 have been collected in New York through the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Sava for the flood victims in Serbia and Bosnia.
Irinej: SPS to donate RSD 10 million as aid
BELGRADE - The Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) will donate RSD 10 million as aid for the areas worst hit by the floods and establish a special fund for donations to help repair the damage, Bishop of Backa Irinej has said.
The SPC assembly was informed on Friday about the extent of the disaster that has hit Serbia, Republika Srpska and the entire region, he stated.
