11th Wine Salon opens in Belgrade
BELGRADE - The two-day Belgrade Wine Salon, opened on Friday at the Hyatt Regency Hotel under the motto 'Wine Match', will showcase around 500 wines made in 64 wineries in Serbia, Croatia, Italy and other coutnries.

Grape yield down by 70 percent
BELGRADE - This year's grape yield in Serbia is down by nearly 70 percent compared to the average and the quality, dependent on the location and type, will not be at the usual level either, head of the vintner group of the Ministry of Agriculture Darko Jaksic said on Thursday, citing preliminary data.

Turkey's Jeanci eyes expansion in Serbia
BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Rasim Ljajic, who is also minister of trade, on Wednesday signed with Taner Buyukcan, CEO of Turkish textile maker Jeanci, a memorandum of understanding that will enable the company to expand its production capacities in Serbia.
