Bosnian Council of Ministers, the country's state-level executive government, voted on Thursday in favour of a construction of a new gas pipeline from Serbia.

The so-called Eastern Interconnection will bring natural gas to cities and towns in the Serb-dominated Republika Srpska entity.

A Russian-style 'Immortal Regiment' parade to commemorate the Day of Victory over Fascism in World War II was held on Tuesday in Banja Luka, the main city of Bosnia's Serb-dominated Republika Srpska, attended by Bosnian Serb president Milorad Dodik and Moscow's ambassador to the country, who used the event to justify Russia's war against Ukraine.

BELGRADE - The Serbian government on Thursday adopted conclusions under which Serbia and Republika Srpska will build two memorial centres to commemorate the victims of the Jasenovac death camp in the WWII-era Independent State of Croatia.

The Serbian Museum of Genocide Victims said on Friday that it has obtained a list with the names and details of 5,800 Serbian children rescued from Ustasa death camps in the Nazi-allied Independent State of Croatia, which was thought to have been lost or destroyed.

Some 768 farmers from Bosnia's Serb-dominated entity, Republika Srpska, who have been awarded grants ranging from 4,000 to 25,000 euros, have until April 29 to sign contracts for the funds.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday Serbia would be trying to pursue a policy of friendship with the US but would not be pursuing a hostile policy towards Russia or China, and noted that it would be trying to preserve the foundations of an independent policy.

BELGRADE - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said on Friday in Belgrade Republika Srpska would be forced to consider, in the most serious manner, taking a decision on independence and secession unless property-related and other issues defined by the Bosnia and Herzegovina constitution were resolved.
