Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has told his German counterpart Frank Walter Steinmeier there was "no need to fuel tensions" over the RS Day referendum.
In a telephone conversation on Thursday, Lavrov called on Steinmeier to focus instead on "encouraging the Bosnian sides to start a constructive dialogue," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement carried by TASS.

Russia-Serbia relations as "strategic partnership"
Russian and Serbian positions on current international problems are similar or close, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
A statement issued after the two countries' foreign ministers, Sergei Lavrov and Ivica Dacic, met in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, said that relations between Russia and Serbia have the character of a strategic partnership.
