Spain football captain Sergio Ramos has been left out of the squad for Euro 2020 which will take place in June and July after being postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic last year.

The famous 'El Clasico' showdown between Spanish football's bitter rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid ended 0-0 late on Dec. 18.

The match was scheduled for Oct. 26 but had to be postponed after a wave of Catalan independence demonstrations in Barcelona.

European champions Real Madrid may still lead La Liga, but an air of crisis has enveloped the club after they were torn apart by local rivals Atletico Madrid in a 4-0 defeat last weekend.
      

Real Madrid defeated San Lorenzo of Argentina 2-0 on Dec. 20 to win the Club World Cup and secure their fourth trophy of 2014. The Spanish giants dominated the final with Sergio Ramos, who had been an injury doubt because of a hamstring strain, and Gareth Bale getting on the scoresheet.

Real Madrid has shared a video of joyful reactions to Sergio Ramos’ stoppage time equalizer in the May 25 Champions League final that ultimately paved the way for los Blancos’ extra-time triumph, including that of a Turkish boy.
