The TV series lasted for 10 years from 1990-2000 and featured some actors that became iconic figures of the youth growing up in the decade. One of the central female characters was Kelly (Jennie Garth) who was the beautiful blonde (among all the other beauties).

She says the series about a futuristic park manned by robot hosts where humans can live out their fantasies has inspired existential questions about her own life. She also says the powerful character she plays has empowered her off-screen as well.
Boy, 7, drowns in sea west of Athens
A 7-year-old Syrian-Kurdish boy was found dead Friday night after he went missing earlier in the day from the Skaramangas refugee center west of Athens.
The boy's disappearance prompted an amber alert and mobilized a police search operation, which led to the discovery of the boy's body in the sea not far from the camp.

BBC television unveils first female 'Doctor Who'
British actress Jodie Whittaker was unveiled on July 16 as the first woman to play "Doctor Who" in the cult BBC science fiction series.
The 35-year-old, who starred in the British award-winning drama "Broadchurch," will take over from Scottish actor Peter Capaldi later this year as 13th incarnation of the Time Lord.
