Serbia beat Greece at Acropolis basketball tournament

ATHENS - The Serbia men's national basketball team defeated Greece 71-64 (16-13, 23-22, 18-14, 14-15) in the first round of the Acropolis tournament in Athens on Tuesday evening.

Bogdan Bogdanovic led Serbia with 15 points and seven rebounds, Nikola Milutinov had 14 points and 12 rebounds and Marko Guduric added 14 points and seven rebounds.

Nuggets move within one win of first NBA title

The Denver Nuggets have moved within one win of their first NBA title, beating Miami 108-95 to take a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven championship series.

Aaron Gordon starred for Denver, putting up 27 points. Nikola Jokic added 23 for the Nuggets, who can secure the championship with a home victory in game five today.

Dončić to pay for funerals of Belgrade school shooting victims

Slovenian basketball superstar Luka Dončić has announced he will support the victims of the Belgrade school shooting and their families through his charitable foundation. He will pay for the funerals of the eight children and one security guard who were killed in the 3 May shooting and for counselling for their families and for the affected students and staff.

Partizan, who missed the first opportunity to qualify for the EuroLeague Final Four tournament in Kaunas, now lead the series 2-1.
