Habits of Greek consumers changing, GLAMI says
A significant change was observed in the consumer behavior of Greek e-shoppers during 2023 compared to 2022, within the framework of the annual "Fashion (Re)search" review by the European fashion search platform GLAMI.
The results of the research emerged from the responses of 4,246 Greek consumers online, regarding their shopping habits.

CarrefourSA aims to open 300 new stores this year
CarrefourSA, one of Turkey's largest retailers, plans to add 300 new outlets to its vast network of supermarkets this year.
"Some 250 of the stores will open under the franchising system. In 2022, already 80 such stores were launched by March," said Kutay Kartallığoğlu, the general manager of CarrefourSA.

Global e-commerce hit $25.6T in 2018: UN trade agency
E-commerce sales hit $25.6 trillion globally in 2018, up 8% from 2017, according to the U.N.'s trade and development body on April 27.
The estimated 2018 e-commerce sales value, which includes business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) sales, was equivalent to 30% of global GDP that year, according to U.N. Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

The total revenue of e-commerce in Greece in 2019 is expected to reach 4 billion euros against last year's 3.7 billion, according to the Greek e-Commerce Association (GRECA).
More than 7,000 businesses in Greece have digital outlets and online users are estimated at 3.8 million, the association's president Katerina Fraidaki told a press conference in Athens on Wednesday.
