Beeswax Museum in Istanbul
The Yılmaz Büyükerşen Beeswax Sculpture Museum, which has been visited by more than 1 million people in the Central Anatolian province of Eskişehir since it opened four years ago, is now in Istanbul. The museum, opened in the Özdilek Park Istanbul shopping mall in the Levent neighborhood, is home to over 100 beeswax sculptures.

Australian government releases “guide” to dealing with terrorism
The Federal Government has released a “tool kit” for venue operators to assess the vulnerability of their site and better protect it against a potential terrorist attack.
It outlined a blueprint for “layered security” at venues, including CCTV, X-ray screening and physical barriers like bollards to prevent vehicle attacks at crowded places like shopping centres and sports stadiums.

Major shopping centers set to mushroom across the capital
Central Athens, the city's southern suburbs and Piraeus are expected to be the main locations of the next generation of shopping centers planned for the broader capital region by the end of the decade.
Countdown starts for Istanbul Shopping Fest
The Istanbul Shopping Fest (ISF), which was initiated seven years ago to make the city a shopping destination and a center of attraction, will be organized between July 1 and 16.
The event will provide the joy of modern and traditional shopping with Design ISF pavilions that will be set up in malls and close to the Grand Bazaar.

Varde Partners to buy 31.7 pct stake in Lamda Malls
Athens-listed Lamda Development said on Monday that global alternative investment firm Varde Partners will acquire 31.7 percent of Lamda Malls for 61.3 million euros.
Lamda Malls owns two Greek shopping malls.
Varde is keen to support expansion of Lamda Malls via acquisitions and new commercial developments.

A license plate recognition system will be installed in the parking lots of all malls across Turkey as a part of security precautions, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.
Artwork removed after reactions
Turkish artist Ahmet Güneştekin's artwork titled "Kostantiniyye," which was previously displayed at the Venice Biennale and exhibited outside a shopping mall in Istanbul, has been removed after reactions from people demanded for its removal.
