Their program is dedicated to the ports of the Mediterranean, with ballads from their native Portugal and Greece, but also from Italy, Spain, Corsica and more.

Ten arrested after police clears squat in Athens municipal theater
Ten people were arrested on Thursday morning after police officers removed squatters from a building housing the Olympia Municipal Music Theater Maria Callas in central Athens.
The suspects, five men and five women, are facing charges of disrupting the operation of a service, illegal violence and aggravated damage to foreign property.
‘Istanbul / Tel Aviv’ concert by Muallem, Karbasi
Istanbul's Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall will host a concert by Israeli musician Yinon Muallem on April 8. The concert, titled "Istanbul - Tel Aviv," will feature compositions inspired by the musician's biographical book of the same name, inspired by his memories of two different countries and cities he lived in.

Aşık Veysel commemorated on 50th anniversary of his death
Folk singer Aşık Veysel Şatıroğlu was commemorated at his grave in Sivrialan village in the eastern province of Sivas on the 50th anniversary of his death.
Saplings were planted in the memorial forest for the folk singer who died on March 21, 1973, and a memorial ceremony was held in his house, which is used as a museum today, in the Şarkışla district.

Music for Poetry Day | Athens | March 21
The Athens Concert Hall (megaron.gr) celebrates World Poetry Day by inviting singer Manolis Mitsias and actress Karyofilia Karabeti to perform the magic that comes when the greatest poems are set to music by great composers.
