Marking the 100-year anniversary of Maria Callas' birth, the Athens Symphony Orchestra and Choir, under the baton of Sebastiano Rolli, take the stage at the same theater where the celebrated Greek opera singer made her debut in 1941, performing a minor role in the operetta "Boccaccio," at the age of 17.

Slovenian artist wins Music Moves Europe award

Slovenian artist July Jones is one of the five recipients of the Music Moves Europe Award, handed out at the Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS) festival in Groeningen, the Netherlands. The award, which comes with a €10,000 prize, is to support artists in their careers.

The list of previous winners includes artists such as Dua Lipa, Hozier and Stromae.

Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis, dies at 54

Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of Elvis Presley and a singer-songwriter dedicated to her father's legacy, died on Jan. 12 after being hospitalized for a medical emergency. She was 54.

Her death in a Los Angeles hospital was confirmed by her mother, Priscilla, a few hours after her daughter was rushed to the hospital by paramedics after a medical episode at her home.
