Interior Ministry embarks on fundamental reforms

BELGRADE - Serbian Interior Ministry (MUP) has embarked on a series of fundamental reforms after the new government was formed, laying the emphasis on the fight against organized crime, drug smuggling and corruption, MUP State Secretary Aleksandar Nikolic and Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia Ambassador Peter Burkhard said in a meeting on Monday.

Vucic: We expect Putin's visit, Kirby a sincere friend

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said late Thursday that Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Serbia has not been confirmed as yet but that he expects it to go ahead and that Serbia will not change its position on anti-Russian sanctions.

"We do not have the official confirmation as yet, but we expect him to come," Vucic told the RTS.
