Serbian Capital Braces for Pride Parade Celebration
Organisers of this year's Belgrade Pride Parade - whose motto is "I'm not giving up" ["Ne odricem se"] - said the walk on Sunday will pass near the main institutions in the city to which Belgrade Pride has been addressing its demands for improved rights for the LGBTI+ community.
Another protest announced for Saturday in Belgrade
The protest organizers announced this on Friday.
They said that the participants would walk from this location via Makedonska, Svetogorska, Takovska, and Kralja Milana streets to Slavija Square.

Belgrade joins "Light it Up Blue" autism awareness campaign
They include the dome of the National Assembly, the Ada Bridge, and the Palace Albania building.
The new fountain in Slavija Square will also light up blue, said Mayor Sinisa Mali.
Massive City Revamp Tests Belgraders' Nerves
The construction work in central Belgrade that began with the reconstruction of the Slavija Square in May has expanded to encompass major parts of the city centre over the summer.
Starting from Branko's Bridge, a number of main squares, boulevards and streets are now partly or completely closed to traffic.

A new fountain in Belgrade's Slavija Square will be fully operational as of Tuesday, city authorities have announced.
City Manager Goran Vesic said this on Monday, announcing the final rehearsal of the "music and light" fountain in Belgrade's major square for the evening.
