Turkish top diplomat to attend nuclear energy summit

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will attend a nuclear energy summit organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Brussels on March 21, where world leaders will discuss the role of the nuclear energy in addressing challenges to reduce the use of fossil fuels, enhance energy security and boost economic development.

Romanian Nuclear Company Insists US Reactors are Safe

The Romanian state-owned electricity company, Nuclearelectrica, thas said that small modular reactors, SMRs, coming from the US, pose no danger to the country or its environment.

SMRs are advanced nuclear reactors that produce clean energy and have a much smaller installed capacity than a large reactor, it said.
