Photographer Alp Alper and pilot Mustafa Yavuz have been traveling Turkey on a two-person gyrocopter and photographing Turkey's natural and historical beauties. 

A tomato statue located at the entrance of the Mediterranean province of Burdur's Çavdır district was attacked with a gun on Jan. 31, Doğan News Agency has reported.

A signboard with the large tomato statue that says "Welcome to Söğüt town" was erected six months ago in the district, which is known for producing 70,000 tons of tomatoes on average every year.
