CHP not to retreat in face of any oppression, violence: Kılıçdaroğlu

The main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu vowed to win the next elections and pledged to strengthen the separation of state powers.

Elaborating on the court files against Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, Kılıçdaroğlu said the government is at unease because the mayor is hard working.

CHP leader urges unity to overcome ‘hard days’

Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has called for unity to overcome the "hard days" that Turkey has been facing recently.

"We are having hard days. We are going through difficult circumstances together. We will and we must overcome together; we must overcome," he said at the CHP's parliamentary group meeting on Feb. 1.

Kılıçdaroğlu announces six freedom steps in event of electoral victory

Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu on Dec. 11 announced the six steps they will take regarding freedoms in the first six months if they come to power.

Stating that human freedoms are simple and easily understood issues, Kılıçdaroğlu said, "We did not want to understand. At this stage of my life, I think I understand now."

CHP leader urges youth to vote

Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has called on the youth of the country to vote in the upcoming elections.

Addressing his party's parliamentary group meeting on Nov. 23, Kılıçdaroğlu said 6.3 million young people will go to the ballot box and vote in the upcoming elections.

"Vote for your future," he said.
