Opposition Eyes Takeover in Montenegrin Capital
The leader of the main opposition Democratic Front, Miodrag Lekic, on Thursday said negotiations with the Socialist People's Party and the coalition of the Social Democratic Party and Positive Montenegro on forming an authority in the capital would start after June 10.

Ponta: Antonescu has killed off USL
Prime Minister Victor Ponta considers that outgoing National Liberal Party (PNL) Chairman Crin Antonescu has "killed off USL [Social Liberal Union]".
Ponta added that the Social Democrats are waiting to see the result of the PNL congress, keeping their availability for the restoring of USL in case the Liberals want this as well.

Ponta tells Schulz: We've done our duty in European elections
AGERPRES special correspondent Doroteea Purcarea reports: Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta told the European Parliament President Martin Schulz on Tuesday that the Romanian Socialists have 'done their duty' in Sunday's European elections.
'We've done our duty', Ponta, who heads the Social Democrat Party (PSD), told Schulz.
Parliament constituted
BELGRADE - Setting up working bodies and standing delegations to international parliamentary institutions marked the end of the constitution of the Serbian National Assembly on Thursday, and a new session is about to start to discuss amendments to the laws on government and ministries, whose passage is a prerequisite for forming a new government.

Liberals Close to Quitting Romania Coalition
Romania's centre-left coalition looked close to splitting up after Klaus Johanis, a leader of National Liberal Party, PNL, on Monday said he was “not very optimistic that the coalition will survive tomorrow.
“We failed to find a solution to the proposed cabinet changes. As a result, our party will decide on Tuesday if our ministers will leave the government or not,” he added.

Party Dispute Threatens Romania Coalition
Prime Minister Victor Ponta on Wednesday took over the role of interim Finance Minister while another member of his ruling Social Democrat Party, PSD, will temporarily head the economy portofolio.
The moves are the latest in a weeks-long feud among Romania’s ruling coalition members, which escalated after the parties failed to agree on cabinet changes.
