Today, the DPP faces its own challenge from the right.

Kolar Celarc was forced to accept the 12 December deadline by the junior coalition partners in exchange for them supporting her in a no-confidence motion in November.

Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt called on Wednesday an early general election to take place on June 18.

It is expected that her centre-left coalition will face a formidable challenge from the opposition, the BBC reports.

The Slovenian Parliament dismissed the country's Defence Minister Janko Veber on Thursday.

According to media reports, the reason for Veber's dismissal is the telecom privatisation scandal that has erupted in the country.
