Magnitude 4.8 earthquake strikes western Turkey
A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck Turkey's western Manisa province on Jan. 28, according to The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).
Boğaziçi University Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute has announced the magnitude of the earthquake as 5.1.

NASA: A Potentially Dangerous Asteroid is Approaching the Earth
A potentially dangerous asteroid with a diameter of 440 to 990 meters is approaching Earth, according to NASA's website.
According to the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), a celestial body with the number 163373 will approach the Earth at a minimum distance of February 15.
A 4.5 Magnitude Earthquake Registered in Samokov, the Quake was also Felt in Sofia
A 4.5 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale was felt in Bulgaria. This was reported by the European Seismic Center.
The epicentre of the quake is 61 km south of Sofia, 20 km south of Samokov and 37 km northeast of Blagoevgrad.
The depth of the quake is 2 km.
5.5 Magnitude Earthquake Off the Coast of Equatorial Guinea
A 5.5 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale has been reported off the coast of Equatorial Guinea, according to the US Geological Survey.
The quake was registered at 3:25 PM GMT.
The epicentre is located 172 km from Bata at a depth of 10 kilometers.
There is no information on possible casualties and destruction.
