Croatia Court Drops Charges Against Luka Modric
Croatia's national football team captain Luka Modric will not be prosecuted for giving false testimony at the trial of the former FC Dinamo chief Zdravko Mamic, the news agency Hina reported on Monday.
"There are not enough grounds for suspicions to raise an indictment against Modric," Kresimir Devcic, a court spokesman, was quoted as saying on Monday.

Convicted Croatian Football Boss Arrested in Bosnia
Former Croatian football club boss Zdravko Mamic, who has been convicted of financial crimes, was arrested on Thursday in Medjugorje.
State Investigation and Protection Agency police detained Mamic on the basis of an Interpol warrant. He will be handed over to the Bosnian state court.
Dinamo Zagreb Football Supremo Convicted of Fraud
Zdravko Mamic, the former chief of Dinamo Zagreb, his brother Zoran Mamic, Damir Vrbanovic, a former Dinamo director, and tax official Milan Pernar were convicted on Wednesday of siphoning about 116 million kunas (15.5 million euros) out of the football club and defrauding the state of about 12.milion kuna (1.8 euro) in unpaid taxes.

Buducnost take lead in ABA League play-off semi-final
PODGORICA - Buducnost Podgorica have taken a 1-0 lead in their ABA basketball league play-off semi-final series after beating Cedevita Zagreb 82-81 (20-23, 19-21, 20-16, 23-21) at home late Tuesday.
Buducnost beat Cedevita for the first time this season despite trailing them for most of the game.
Taekwondo: Bodganovic wins bronze in Egypt
BELGRADE - Member of the Serbian taekwondo Tijana Bogdanovic won the bronze medal at the Luxor Open as the G2 category tournament in Egypt.
In the category of competitors weighing up to 49 kilograms, Bogdanovic lost the semifinal duel to triple European champion Lucija Zaninovic from Croatia, 10-8, after she previously defeated representatives of Russia, Turkey and Brazil.
