Bulgarian prosecutors call Vasil Bozhkov the nation's most dangerous man. Now the fugitive gambling tycoon is planning to return home to exonerate himself by toppling the government.

On Friday the investigative news site bivol.bg reported that the Prosecutor's Office had received official information detailing Vassil Bozhkov's claims he had given millions to PM Boyko Borissov and Finance Minister Vladislav Gouranov. The money would provide political protection, as well as keep a favorable law untouched.

I don't want the state of emergency to continue after May 13, Bulgaria's Premier Boyko Borissov told journalists. 

The bill establishing a National Gambling Agency, which replaces the State Gambling Commission, has been published for discussion, BNR reported.

A Russian spy expelled from Bulgaria has tried to recruit a director of a Bulgarian service with access to classified information, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said in an interview with BTV. According to PM Borissov, the Bulgarian employee himself informed him of the attempt for recruitment, after which appropriate actions were taken by Bulgarian authorities, BNR reported
