Djokovic eases past Tsonga to reach Roland Garros quarters
PARIS - Serbia's top-ranking male tennis player Novak Djokovic reached the quarter-finals of the Roland Garros Grand Slam tennis tournament on Sunday by beating Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France 6-1, 6-4, 6-1.
The current world number two now has a 12-5 head-to-head record against Tsonga.
Serbian coxless pair wins gold at European Championships
BELGRADE - The Serbian coxless pair of Dusan Bogicevic and Veselin Savic on Sunday won the gold medal at the 2014 European Rowing Championships in Belgrade.
Bogicevic and Savic won the final on Ada Ciganlija in 6:21.75.
Silver medallists the Netherlands finished in 6:21.99, while Germany won the bronze, finishing in 6:24.71.

Ivanovic loses to Safarova
PARIS - Serbia's Ana Ivanovic on Saturday failed to reach the fourth round of the Roland Garros tennis tournament by losing to Lucie Safarova of the Czech Republic 6-3, 6-3.
Ivanovic was no match for in-form Safarova, who dominated both sets with power and accuracy.

Serbian coxless pair through to EC final
BELGRADE - The Serbian coxless pair of Dusan Bogicevic and Veselin Savic on Saturday reached the final of the European Rowing Championships on Ada Ciganlija in Belgrade.
In the semi-final race, Bogicevic and Savic finished second in 6:30.72, making it into the top six crews that will be competing for medals on Sunday.

PARIS - Serbia's Nenad Zimonjic and Daniel Nestor of Canada reached the quarter-finals of the French Open men's doubles tennis tournament on Saturday by beating Jean-Julien Rojer of the Netherlands and Horia Tecau of Romania 6-4, 7-5.
Lajovic through to Roland Garros fourth round
PARIS - Serbia's Dusan Lajovic reached the fourth round of the Roland Garros tennis tournament on Saturday by beating Jack Sock of the United States 6-4, 7-5, 6-3.
Current world number 83 Lajovic, who is Serbia's second-highest ranking male tennis player, achieved a career-best win that is bound to hand him a higher ATP ranking next week.
