Education Ministry decides to increase school days
In a bid to keep the flow of education constant and parallel to the practices undertaken in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development countries (OECD), the Education Ministry has launched an effort to work on extending school terms in Türkiye.

Mid-term break starts for 20 mln students in Türkiye
Nearly 20 million students and more than 1.2 million teachers have started the first mid-term break of the 2023-2024 academic year.
A large number of primary, middle and high school students on Nov. 10 attended their last classes before the short break that will last on Nov. 17.
French-speaking Belgians pick Greece for spring break
Greece is among the travel destinations of choice for French-speaking Belgians' spring break, according to a report from the RTL network.
"Spain, Greece, Morocco or Tunisia. These are the top spring break destinations," reported RTL, with Your Travel head Hedy Hafsia talking about a change in the destinations chosen by Belgium's French-speaking community.
Over 18 million students go on short break
A short mid-term break for more than 18 million students and over 1 million teachers in Turkey began on April 8.
Classes will resume on April 15.
Four months ago, students went onto a two-week winter break after completing their first semester and receiving their mid-term report cards on Jan. 21.

Millions of students back in school after short break
More than 18 million students and nearly a million teachers are set to return to schools today with the end of the two-week mid-term break that started on Jan. 21.
In-person education will resume at all schools throughout the country as the pandemic is still raging, and the bells will be ringing in a total of 850,000 classrooms in all schools in 81 provinces.
Holidaymakers flock to ski resorts for mid-term break
Thousands of people have mobilized in Turkey after the mid-term break at schools began on Jan. 21, and the country's skiing resorts appear to be one of the main beneficiaries of this two-week-long holiday even though harsh winter conditions, including heavy snow, continue to batter many provinces.

Bulgaria: The Ministry of Education Will not Change Vacation Schedule for Students
The spring vacation for students from first to 11th grade will be from April 3 to 11, inclusive.
This was announced by the press center of the Ministry of Education and Science announced.
