Washington Post Story on "Fake News" Was Fake News
BELGRADE - Following public backlash, legal threats, and sustained mocking, the Washington Post has added an editor's note distancing the newspaper from a shadowy website called PropOrNot which they had preciously endorsed as "experts" on "fake news" and "Russian propaganda."

Russia's Lavrov to visit Serbia December 12-13
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will be on a working visit to Serbia on December 12 and 13, a Russian MFA spokesperson has said.
"While in Belgrade, he will be received by the president, the prime minister, and the foreign minister," Maria Zakharova said during a briefing, Sputnik is reporting on Wednesday.

BELGRADE - A European Parliament resolution seeking to counteract Russian media outlets is a rude violation of fundamental rights, proving that the European Union is becoming "increasingly totalitarian," the leader of Serbian eurosceptic Dveri party told Sputnik Thursday.
Reporters Without Borders No Longer Give Interviews To Russian Media

BELGRADE - The refusal of the Reporters Without Borders (RSF) to give comments to the Russian media group Rossiya Segodnya amid restrictions to media freedom in the European Union means that the organization does not really seek to protect journalists, Sputnik news agency's Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan told Sputnik on Wednesday.
EP voted in favor of resolution on "countering Russian media outlets"
BELGRADE - The European Parliament voted in favor of a resolution on countering Russian media outlets, such as the Sputnik news agency and the RT broadcaster. As many as 304 parliamentarians voted in favor the document, 179 voted against and 208 abstained.
As many as 691 officials took part in the vote, meaning less than half supported the resolution.
