Djedovic Handanovic:Serbia-Bulgaria gas pipeline to be completed in mid-November
BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic said on Thursday the construction of a Serbia-Bulgaria gas interconnector would be completed in mid-November.

BELGRADE - After a meeting with Srbijagas Director Dusan Bajatovic, Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic said a natural gas interconnection with Bulgaria was due to be completed before the start of the next heating season.

The annual regional business forum is being held at Kopaonik Ski Resort in southwestern Serbia from March 1-4. On it, the director of the state-owned company Srbijagas Dusan Bajatovic revealed details about the Turkish Stream project and the country's gasification after its completion.

The Serbian energy regulator has given final approval for the construction of a branch of the TurkStream pipeline, RT is reporting.

Serbian section of TurkStream by end of 2019
In an interview to the television channel Russia-1, he said the section would be 403 km long, running from the Serbian-Bulgarian border to the Serbian-Hungarian border.
Asked when the construction of the section would begin, Miller responded: "Literally any day now," the Russian news agency reported.

Serbia preparing to build section of TurkStream
And everything is being done in accordance with European rules, the head of the state-owned natural gas enterprise remarked.
Bajatovic told Prva TV that the Energy Agency of Serbia has already been asked for permission to build TurkStream through Serbia, and that this project in now before the Energy Community, which has a deadline of 60 days to declare itself on it.

Vuckovic: Unwanted companies must go into bankruptcy
MT KOPAONIK - State-owned companies that are unable to settle their liabilities must go into bankruptcy if no one is interested in buying them, says Fiscal Council member Vladimir Vuckovic.
"The Nitrogen Plant owes money to Srbijagas for gas, and that is about 2-3 bln of new debt a year," Vuckovic said at the Kopaonik Business Forum.
Work to build Serbian Stream gas pipeline to begin soon - PM
The Serbian prime minister said the South Stream company, established for the project to build the gas pipeline of the same name, would be renamed accordingly.
"Currently we are designing Nis-Dimitrovgrad (pipeline) and I believe we will begin to build it, too, soon," the Brnabic said on Monday in Belgrade.
Serbia and Russia sign several agreements
Representatives of the governments of Serbia and Russia signed in Moscow, on Tuesday a series of agreements on cooperation in various fields.
The Serbian government announced this, adding that the agreements were signed after the talks between two state delegations led by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
