New Anti-Corruption Party Leads in Bulgarian Parliamentary Elections

According to the Central Election Commission's interim results on Monday morning, We Continue the Change won 25.85 per cent of the vote, ahead of ex-premier Boyko Borissov's GERB in close second with 20.38 per cent.

GERB leads with a clear difference in the parliamentary elections, "We Continue the Change" has the biggest reserve, because it is the first choice of the people who have decided to vote, but are still hesitant about for whom.

The data are from a Gallup International Balkan survey for OFFNews.bg, conducted face-to-face, among 1,081 adult Bulgarians, in the period October 23-31.

The BSP, which came third in the most recent polls in July, is being given the chance to form a government after failed attempts by the winning party There is Such a Nation and former Prime Minister Boyko Borissov's GERB.

There will be no official talks about the future government between the parties before the third term, but  "Democratic Bulgaria" and "Stand up. BG! We are coming!" announced that the Speaker of the 46th Parliament Iva Miteva has qualities and would be a great choice for Prime Minister.

However, hinting at its ambitions to form a government soon, despite returning the mandate to President Rumen Radev, GERB also announced a projected cabinet as a sign that it is ready to offer a new government at any time.
