Authorities revoke state of emergency in Rhodes
The state of emergency declared in Rhodes on July 20 following the destructive wildfires that ravaged the island for more than 10 says was lifted on Saturday, the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection announced.
Residents and visitors received a notifications from the emergency number 112 to return safely to their places of residence.

The Municipality of Kastoria in northern Greece was declared in a state of emergency by Civil Protection authorities on Monday due to damage and problems caused by heavy rainfall over the previous three days.

A state of emergency was declared on Patmos on Thursday in the wake of a violent rainstorm that visited floods and landslides on the southeastern Aegean island on Monday.
Civil Protection General Secretary Vassilis Papageorgiou made the decision in response to a request from the Municipality of Patmos.
