Online debate on economy on Wednesday
The Stavros Niarchos Foundation is organizing an online dialogue titled "The Economy Challenged," with the participation of University of Edinburgh Professor Emilios Avgouleas and Yale University Professor Costas Meghir.

Niarchos Foundation offers bonus to hospital staff
The Stavros Niarchos Foundation announced Thursday it will provide $8.1 million in bonuses to 5,000 hospital staff in Greece.
This is part of a $31 million first round of grants to reach areas hardest hit by the coronavirus. Greece will be the recipient of $11.9 million of these grants.

China’s Hainan Province donates surgical masks to Crete
Authorities on Crete said on Tuesday that they had received a donation of 3,000 high-quality surgical masks from the Chinese Province of Hainan.
Crete's Regional Governor Stavros Arnaoutakis described the gift as "an act of humanitarianism and solidarity," adding that it showed that "the power of cooperation, of contribution and of protecting public health know no bounds."
Niarchos Foundation to help boost Greece's ICU capacity
Funds from a considerable donation by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation should be spent primarily on adding more intensive care units, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said in a teleconference with the Foundation's leadership.
