For the Serbian Patriarch, North Macedonia does not exist
The Serbian Orthodox Church, the most loyal ally of modern Serbian chauvinism in the Balkans, began celebrations on the 700th anniversary of the death of King Stefan II Milutin (1282-29 October 1321) in RN Macedonia, but without inviting local scholars, a BGNES reporter reported.
Belgrade band perform "Next Year in Prizren" in Kosovo
They were at the monastery for the feast of Holy King Milutin - and on the occasion, performed their latest song, "Dogodine u Prizrenu (Next Year in Prizren).
The song mentions the town of Prizren in Kosovo because it was the ancient capital of the Serbian medieval empire - while the title itself is a paraphrase of the Jewish saying, "Next year in Jerusalem."
Two dead in fire in New Belgrade apartment
Two people died in a fire that broke out in an apartment in Milutina Milankovica St. in New Belgrade on Wednesday, state broadcaster RTS is reporting.
The victims are an 89-year-old woman and her son, aged about 60, Tanjug said. They are believed to have died from asphyxiation after inhaling smoke.

SPC Patriarch presents Order of Holy King Milutin to Torshin
BELGRADE - Patriarch Irinej of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) presented on Tuesday the Order of Holy King Milutin to Alexander Porfiryevich Torshin, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of Russia and founder of The Saint Sabbas the Sanctified Foundation, an international humanitarian foundation for the preservation of Christian sacred places in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM).
