SOFIA, Bulgaria (AP) — Bulgarian police have discovered and seized more than 360 kilograms (nearly 800 pounds) of cocaine from an apartment in the capital.

Security forces seized nearly 35 kilograms (around 77 pounds) of cocaine in Turkey's southern Mersin province, authorities said on April 13.

Anti-narcotics and customs officers recovered a total of 34.79 kilograms (76.61 pounds) of heroin from a ship coming from South America, according to a statement issued by the chief public prosecutor's office.

Bulgarian citizen was arrested in Turkey for drug trafficking across the border, Hürriyet reports.

Turkish authorities found 1118 g of meth, 278 grams of narcotic tablets and 276 g of ecstasy powder in the detained car.

Montenegro's Police Directorate on Wednesday said that the arrest was part of a months-long international action initiated by Montenegrin, Serbian, Dutch and British law enforcement.

32 people were detained during the large-scale operation.

Spain's police have busted a drug gang led by a 44-year-old Bulgarian woman in Valladolid. 200 kilograms of heroin, amphetamines and marijuana, as well as 45,000 euros, weapons and 12 cars were seized during the large-scale operation.

North Macedonia's Interior Minister, Nake Culev, on Thursday, said police seized a kilo of cocaine on Wednesday as part of an international drug-busting operation that had involved "several countries", while not naming them.

Police in Athens on Wednesday detained two men and a woman in connection with a crystal methamphetamine laboratory in the city center. 

According to a police statement, a raid on the makeshift lab turned up 3.5 kilograms of meth amphetamine (shisha) as well as various other substances whose chemical composition was unclear.

Spanish law enforcement has seized a submarine that was loaded with more than 2 tonnes of cocaine, according to the El Pais.

Law enforcement officers have detained at least two people. The submarine was discovered in the waters of Galicia. It is believed that the submarine has arrived from Colombia. There are no other details so far.

More than one tonne of cocaine in plastic packages of as yet unknown origin have been collected in recent weeks from the Atlantic coast of France, the French press reported.

Ten people were arrested on drug possession charges during a raid on a nightclub in the Gazi district of Athens, police said on Monday.
The raid, which took place early on Sunday morning, led to the seizure of 12.6 grams of cannabis, 3.5 grams of cocaine, 1.7 grams of heroin, 3.2 grams of MDMA and at least 20 pills.
