Stoyanka Mutafova is temporarily withdrawing from the theatrical scene. This was announced by NOVA theatrical producer Kiril Kirilov.
 
She will not play in shows in November because she felt a bit tired and overwhelmed.
 
In December, however, the actress will return to the audience, and in February she is preparing her jubilee performance "70 years on stage".

And on her 96th birthday, the great Bulgarian actress Stoyanka Mutafova will be on stage at the Satirical Theater. She will play again at "Stoletie moe", according to BGNews.

The Bulgarian Actors Union is organizing on Monday its annual ceremony for bestowing the "IKAR" awards on the occasion of the International Day of Theater.

The ceremony, which in 2017 is dedicated to several anniversaries this time will be held under the dome of the circus "Balkan" in the new park "Vuzrajdane", announced the organizers of the event.

A proposal for listing the name of Stoyanka Mutafova in the Guinness Book of Records has been officially submitted by the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in London with the support of the outgoing Culture Minister Vezhdi Rashidov.

The 94-year old Bulgarian actress will be nominated for the category "The oldest actress actively performing on stage".

The tireless Stoyanka Mutafova, also famous for her nickname ''Misis Natural Disaster'', could be entered into The Guinness Book of World Records as the actress with the longest active professional career, reported by Tema Daily.
