New Cases of ASF in Smolyan and Shumen Have Been Confirmed

The first cases of the disease African swine fever (ASF) has been established in the Smolyan and Shumen regions.

Two positive swine fever samples have been found in a study of dead wild boar material found near the Dospat village of Zmeitsa, according to the BTA Regional Food Safety Directorate.

The launch of the third line of the Sofia subway is postponed to February 2020. Increase in the Thefts at the Seaside

The most frequent are the thefts in Varna, Burgas and Dobrich regions, NOVA TV reported.

At the height of summer, thefts at the seaside increase. Since the beginning of the year, over 3,500 thefts have occurred in the Varna, Burgas and Dobrich regions.

In June and July alone, personal property encroachments in the Varna region are 456, in Burgas - 441, and in Dobrich - 83.

NIMH: There Is a Danger of Fires in Parts of Northern Bulgaria

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) warns of a fire hazard on several Danubian districts today.

Red code applies to part of the territory of Pleven, Veliko Tarnovo and Ruse, where, according to the highest degree of danger, fast-spreading and very strong fires are possible. For most of the territory of Northern Bulgaria the codes are yellow and orange.

Bulgarian Food Safety Agency Confirmed New Outbreaks of African Swine Fever in the Regions of Pleven and Veliko Tarnovo

The Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BNSA) found two new outbreaks in private farms in the city of Iskar, Iskar municipality, Pleven and Klimentovo, Polski Trambesh, Veliko Tarnovo. In both farms there were nearly 30 pigs.

Hackers Attacked the Websites of the Airports in Burgas and Varna

Experts have already recovered one and are working on the other website, reported NOVA TV. 

Burgas and Varna airport sites have been attacked from another hacker, reported "24 hours" newspaper, citing the press center of the airport in Varna.

The information was blocked shortly before midnight last night. And there is currently no access to the site of Burgas Airport.
